Dr. Seuss gift idea ~ last post ~ I think :)

So, I had a comment that requested a blank tag that could be written on to give to the teacher.  The other tag I posted here is the one I created to give with the book as a baby shower gift.  I have been thinking about a note to give the teacher so I don’t have to explain this every year.  I found this great poem online and created a tag for it.  Since it’s fairly long the tag is bigger.  I plan to laminate mine and slip it inside the cover.  I can’t find the source, though, so if anyone else has seen it please let me know so I can give them proper credit!  There is a boy version and a girl version.  Click on the picture to be taken to the printable (minus the watermark).  Be sure to print landscape!

Thanks Clean Mama!!

I’m so exited.  Clean Mama and Merry Maids had a giveaway a few weeks ago.  (If you haven't visited clean mama you should.  She has great printables and cleaning tips)They were giving away gift cards to various places.  I was shocked when I got an e-mail saying I won the $150 pier 1 gift card!!!!   just received it in the mail the other day and can’t wait to go shopping.  I really need some baskets to hold my recipe books in the new cabinet I just got at IKEA for my kitchen.

I already have three of these baskets painted black.  I use them to organize all the paperwork for myself, husband, and kids on shelves

School's out for the summer!!

Well, not yet exactly.  My kids have less than two weeks to go though so I need to get their gifts ready for their teachers.  Both of my kids were blessed with great teachers this year and my daughter's bus drivers were awesome.

Homemade Freezer Pops

Fla-vor-ice . . . . freezer pops . . . . Push Up Popsicles . . . Push Pops . . . . not really sure what exactly these are called . . . . just know my kids beg for them.  However, we're really trying to eat better which means as little processed food as possible and avoiding some ingredients (like msg, aspertame, and high fructose) as much as possible.  That's why I knew I had to find a way to DIY these.
